The Heat Is On!
Yikes, it's getting hot down here! The earth's temperature has risen between 0.5 and 1.1 degrees Fahrenheit since 1860. Why does that matter?

Temperature change, by even a degree at a time, can have long lasting impact on ecosystems - icebergs can melt, ocean levels can rise, crops may no longer thrive - making global warming far more than a chapter in a science text.

If everyone walked everywhere, global warming would be less of a problem, but that's not very practical. But you can make small changes that have a big impact. Turning off lights is an easy way to help. So is carpooling for work or school activities.

Learn how you may be contributing to the problem, and what you can do to help.
